Friendship bracelets of Links of London bring happy childhood memories back to me.
The reason is that they remind me of the time when we were little, during family vacation in Skiathos island, and some tourists, in order to extend their stay in Greece, made bracelets with sewing coloured thread in on-the-spot flea markets.
So, like everyone else, in order to follow that summer trend, we waited in line to get these desirable bracelets, with our parents becoming interpreters, so that the people who made them could understand the colour combination we longed for...
Τα Friendship βραχιολάκια της Links of London μου ξυπνούν ευχάριστες παιδικές αναμνήσεις.
Ο λόγος είναι ότι μου θυμίζουν όταν ήμασταν μικρά, σε οικογενειακές καλοκαιρινές διακοπές στη Σκιάθο, τους τουρίστες που για να παρατείνουν την διαμονή τους στην Ελλάδα επιδίδονταν στην κατασκευή βραχιολιών από χρωματιστές κλωστές σε αυτοσχέδιους πάγκους πώλησης.
Έτσι, όπως όλοι, και εμείς για να ακολουθήσουμε την καλοκαιρινή μόδα είχαμε στηθεί επί ώρα στην ουρά για να αποκτήσουμε τα πολυπόθητα βραχιολάκια με τους γονείς μας να γίνονται διερμηνείς ώστε να κατανοήσουν αυτοί που τα φιλοτεχνούσαν τον συνδυασμό χρωμάτων που επιθυμούσαμε...
